About Me
A veteran feature/television editor turned director, Stuart has recently completed his first foray into episodic directing with season 5 of Z Nation (Syfy/Netflix). Son to a polish-born Opera singer, and an Egyptian father, Stuart began in New York City as a production assistant to director John McTiernan (Die Hard), when his short film “Bobby Loves Mangos” was discovered in a coffee shop by film critic Roger Ebert at the Sundance film festival, resulting in national attention and a development deal with Dreamworks SKG, overnight.
Stuart's narrative feature film entitled #Stuck, starring Joel David Moore (Avatar) and Madeline Zima (Californication), of which he also wrote, has garnered several awards such as Best Performances at the Napa Valley Film Festival, and Best Director, as well as the Audience Award at the Sun Valley Film Festival.
Stuart second narrative feature film entitled, "Mantervention" starring Mario Van Peebles, Travis Van Winkle (Transformers, The Last Ship), Chloe Bridges (CW: The Carrie Diaries) and Nick Roux (Jane by Design).
Stuart just wrapped his latest film, FLAWLESS (2019).
He is a graduate, with distinction, of Boston University’s College of Communications and is an active member of the Director’s Guild of America, and Editor’s Guild of America.
