About Me
Stuart's Boston University thesis film "Bobby Loves Mangos" earned accolades of film critic Roger Ebert at the Sundance Film Festival and went on to win 37 film festivals across the globe.
Stuart's narrative feature film entitled #Stuck, starring Joel David Moore (Avatar) and Madeline Zima (Californication), of which he also wrote, has also garnered several awards such as Best Performances at theNapa Valley Film Festival, and Best Director, as well as the Audience Award at the Sun Valley Film Festival.
Stuart second narrative feature film entitled, "Mantervention" starring Mario Van Peebles, Travis Van Winkle (Transformers, TNT: The Last Ship), Chloe Bridges (CW: The Carrie Diaries) and Nick Roux (Jane by Design).
Stuart Acher co-founded The MOB Entertainment with partner Andrew Erin. Prior, he had a development deal at Dreamworks and Independently produced award-winning features and documentaries acquired by HBO, Netflix, and Amazon Studios. Stuart spent many years as an editor for both Studio films and Network/Cable Television for which his work was nominated for an Emmy® Award. Stuart received a B.A. in film at Boston University.
